At ClearLedger, we respect your right to privacy and provide straightforward ways to manage and delete your data. This page provides instructions on how to request the deletion of your account and associated data, including information retrieved from third-party integrations like Google Ads and Meta Ads.

How to Delete Your Data

You can request data deletion through the following methods:

Option 1: In-App Settings (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your data is directly through the ClearLedger platform:

  1. Log in to your ClearLedger account.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Select the Security & Privacy tab.
  4. Scroll to the Delete Data section.
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm your identity and initiate the deletion process.

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access your account, you can send a deletion request to our support team:

  • Email: support@clearledger.com
  • Subject: Data Deletion Request
  • Please include the email address associated with your account.

Note: For security reasons, we may require additional verification before processing email requests.

What Happens When Data is Deleted?

Upon processing a deletion request:

  • Your user profile and account credentials will be permanently removed.
  • All connected integration tokens (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) will be revoked and deleted.
  • All uploaded documents, clearing logs, and generated reports will be purged from our active databases.
  • Some data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period (up to 30 days) before being permanently overwritten.

Third-Party Revocation

In addition to deleting your data on ClearLedger, you can also manually revoke ClearLedger's access to your advertising accounts through their respective platforms:
